In order to maintain and upgrade airport equipment and systems including those used for air traffic control and airport security at levels that meet the criteria of ICAO standards, personnel within the Technical Services Division regularly undergo training on the following areas:
- Communications engineering;
- Electrical engineering;
- Designs Planning;
- Maintenance and Installations of Communication, Navigational System (CNS);
- Maintenance and Installation of Airport Ground Lighting System (AGL);
- Maintenance and Installation of Navigation Systems;
- Maintenance and Installation of Surveillance Data - Power Systems and;
- Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) - Training and related specialised training.
